DESPITE his spectacular multisport success this year, Alex Yee has revealed he still has athletics ambitions to fulfil, writes Euan Crumley.

Not only is he brimming with confidence ahead of this month’s European Cross Country Championships in Italy – having impressively won the junior men’s race at the trials in Liverpool last weekend to seal his spot on the British team – but the 18-year-old from South London has aspirations of qualifying to run for England in the 5000m at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
