CASTER SEMENYA fired a warning shot to her competitors after her 800m victory in Rome, claiming she is still recovering from injury.
Semenya has been untouchable since the start of 2016 and holds the world’s fastest time of 1:56.64 set in Rabat and equalled in Rome on Thursday June 2.
The 25-year-old has appeared on numerous occasions to be running well within her own capability, but says she is focusing on maintaining her work ethic and performance levels rather than homing in on fast times.
