RUNNING waistpacks vary from those that simply promise to hold you car keys and loose change to hydration belts that carry everything short of the kitchen sink in a neatly formatted pack. What you should look for is one that is not bulky, doesn’t chafe and won’t ride up. There’s nothing worse than making constant readjustments as you run – above all else it should be so comfortable you forget it’s there. What else should you look for? Here are three top tips:
❱ Breathable fabric. Make sure the underside of the belt straps have some breathability. Look for mesh panels. Cheaper waistpacks have less of this – it’s worth paying more if you want comfort on the run.
