SUPPORTING EUROPE WHATEVER happens in the Euro referendum, I hope British athletics and athletics won’t leave Europe in terms of the championships in Amsterdam next month. A Europeans the same year as an Olympics may be bizarre but other nations are taking them seriously, therefore so should we.
Some potential Olympians who won’t get near semi-finals or top 20 in Rio should think the Europeans might offer more success this year.
