Australian Railway History  |  October 2020
The October 2020 Edition includes:
• Was a timber truss bridge built at Fish River?
• The Great White Train and its 1926 stopover in Canberra
• Centenary of the Henty– Billabong (Rand) Branch A line originally investigated to Daysdale – Part 3
• There and back again Western Endeavour – Part 2
Cover: Artist Xing Lin has created a beautiful impression of what the Great White Train may have looked like on its arrival into the still primitive Eastlake later Kingston (Canberra) rail yards in 1926. From the photo on page 12 and the diagram on page 17 it looks like the train was actually marshalled into the stores yard for closer inspection and access by the local residents for the exhibition.
