Hard as it is to believe, 2019- 20 products are just around the corner. And Artifacts, with its lengthy history and parallel-heavy reputation, will be a welcome sight on store shelves.
Upper Deck is sticking with a proven formula, so there’s deffnitely a sense of familiarity to this release. If you’ve liked Artifacts before, you’ll like it this time around as well. Holdover rookies like Cale Makar, Filip Zadina, Quinn Hughes and Ryan Poehling will be a big draw, along with the classic Rookie Redemptions. The UD Bounty Program returns as well, offering intrepid set builders the chance to acquire a pair of limited cards not available in packs. And the first 25 to complete the quest will receive an additional nine-card 2005-06 Retro set plus an exclusive Auston Matthews autograph. Not bad. Each hobby box will contain three autographs, memorabilia or Aurum Bounty cards, along with four serialnumbered cards (one of which will be limited to 99 or less) and one rookie redemption.
