BIKE Magazine July 2021 Back Issue

The month of July is special for many reasons – summer kicks in, people seem generally happier, and life feels good. However, it’s also a month full of special international days that promote a good message. Whether it’s International Plastic Bag Free Day on 3rd July, Global Forgiveness Day on the 7th, Nelson Mandela International Day on the 18th or International Day of Friendship on the 30th, all are world days that encourage us to be kinder to each other or to make the world a better place.
Now, as cyclists, we know all too well about trying to make the world better. Okay, we probably all have stories about other cyclists being a little bit, well, grumpy at times. But in general, we cycle for the greater good. Whether we are doing it for our mental health, our physical health, as a way to connect to nature, as a way to cut down our carbon footprint or simply as a way to feel the wind on our face. And through our stories of how cycling has helped us, how it inspired us, or simply how we have met nothing but kind strangers along our travels, we are encouraging others to take up this amazing thing.
This month, we have an abundance of tales all about the positive impact cyclists are having on the world. We hear more about people’s adventures across the continents and how by travelling by bike, they experienced the world (and people) in a way they wouldn’t have otherwise done. We also have the opportunity to read a personal insight from two professional cyclists and how they have both done something extraordinary in the cycling world. Of course, there is the usual fitness and biking advice, and we can also read about how cycling has the power to change your life completely. We even have a word from the Bicycle Mayor of Ranchi.
So, as you can see, cycling can show you the good side of humanity. You wouldn’t get all that from a car now, would you?

Great Magazine for Bicycle Enthusiasts

I really enjoy this magazine it has high quality content and strikes the perfect balance between the professional world of cycling and real life stories from hobbyists. It does a very good job keeping readers update with events, bike friendly places around the world to visit and what's going on in the professional world of cycling. I've gone through quite a few bicycle related bicycle magazines in recent years and I have to say BIKE Magazine is my favourite. Reviewed 29 November 2021
