A STRONG wind took the sting out of the sun on the last day of a mini-heatwave as runners competed in the 12th MOK Run.
Bellahouston Harrier Jack Arnold returned to the top spot in the headline half marathon race posting 01:16:44, nearly three minutes off last year’s pace. It was four minutes 15 seconds faster than best Campbeltown runner Stuart McGeachy (01:21:00) and the pair were split by Kieran Cooper (01:19:01).
