A TRIO of Dunaverty members attempted to qualify for the club’s Muneroy cup by battling against strong winds and heavy rain in the morning session of the February medal.
The horrendous weather deterred many from turning out. Despite the dreadful conditions Donald Taylor returned an excellent 75 to post the best scratch score of the day.
It was left to the af ternoon participants, in better weather, to produce the winner and this was done in fine style by John Brown with a winning nett score of 64.
