The burnt out laundry area and gents toilets.
IT WAS business as usual for a Gigha restaurant the day after a fire rampaged through part of the building.
Boathouse proprietors James and Sharon Clark, who took over the business in December, opened the eatery to the public the next day, in spite of the inferno which destroyed a small laundry area and gents toilets in the building. The couple awoke at about 3.30am last Saturday as smoke poured from the Michelin Guide restaurant a week after they opened for their first summer season.
