CYBERPUNK 2077 - THE GAME FOR 2020

LET’S FACE IT: 2020 belongs to Cyberpunk 2077. Whether it turns out to be as good as advertised or it detonates on impact, CD Projeckt Red’s open world RPG based on Talsorian’s Games’s table top game is going to eat a sizable chunk of everyone’s attention next year. The cinematic trailers look amazing, the demo playthroughs promise so much, the world looks as dark as it looks inviting and it has Keanu Reeves in it. Keanu goddamn Reeves!

It’s caught flack from some woke corners of the web, but it’s doubtful Cyberpunk 2077 will be anything other than a juggernaut when it sees release. Given the pedigree of CD Projeckt Red’s track record there’s no reason to be anything other than optimistic about this game. NC

WITH WITCHER being a huge hit on Netflix and saving us all from the Christmas doom and gloom of Boris as PM, Cyberpunk 2077 may just give us a look at what the United Kingdom might look like after another four years under a Conservative government. I’m expecting Sci Fi RPG at its finest, all bio tech implants and the availability of impressive weapons straight out of an Ian M Banks novel.
