Madonna has rekindled her working relationship with Mirwais. The producer was behind some of her biggest hits of the new millennium including 2000’s much-loved Music and, less so, its follow-up American Life. The duo have been posting updates of their time in the studio together working on new material via social media.
Elsewhere, Madonna lost her battle to prevent an auction of personal items, including a letter from the late rapper Tupac Shakur. Last year, the star sought an emergency court order to prevent the sale by Gotta Have It! Collectibles which included underwear, but a judge has since dismissed the case on grounds the statute of limitations to recover the items had passed. The Tupac letter alone is expected to fetch more than $100,00 when it goes to auction in July.
