Clay Shooting  |  July 2018
THE FUTURE OF SHOOTING
A bank holiday coinciding with three consecutive days of good weather is surely a once-in-a-lifetime occasion in good old Britain, but that’s what we got in the early May break. What did that mean? Three glorious days of uninterrupted shooting, of course. Does it get any better than that? Not that we in the Clay Shooting team were allowed out for long, as soon as the working week resumed it was back into the office to get putting this issue together. We’ve themed this edition around newcomers be they youngsters or full-grown adults giving clay shooting a first try. From interviewing Alfie Tibbles the overall winner of the British Schools & Young Shots Championship to searching high and low for the best cartridges that won’t break the bank, to profiling the various schemes to get more people involved, it’s all about increasing the size of the clay shooting community.
