DISCOVER THE CLASSIC CLIMBS OF FLANDERS
The mountains of France or the warmer climes of Italy or Spain are understandably more popular, but Belgium, as a cycling-mad country, also has plenty to offer. Its proximity means it’s ideal for a brief visit as the quiet roads
of West Flanders are less than an hour’s drive from Calais. Most of the famous cobbled climbs that feature in the Tour of Flanders are a little further south
around the town of Oudenaarde, which is where much of Belgium’s best riding is to be found.
