Victor Caixeta is the new Principal Dancer of the Dutch National Ballet. The Brazilian artist, among the few foreigners to have been part of the Mariinsky Ballet, left Russia when the war broke out. We met him.
Conceived at the time of the French Revolution, La Fille mal gardée is the longest-running ballet to be passed down through the ages and continues to appeal to audiences today. It has recently been brought back to the stage by a number of ensembles.
