“As anyone who’s been there knows, there’s something about Cornwall. And on the day of our shoot, the county seemed to be putting on a show especially for us. Sunshine blazed suddenly in a sky that had been unremittingly grey, turning the sea at Port Isaac the deepest shade of steely blue. We sent up a thank you, as our outdoor seafood feast demanded a glorious day, and it seemed – just this once – the weather gods were on our side. This menu was designed in the spirit of summer by the coast… Shellfish straight off just-moored day boats, laid-back cooking and dishes begging to be eaten with fingers – the sort of food that brings people together in the best possible way.„
