DIVA BFF
I am married with four young children and this year I shall be celebrating my 50th birthday, which I am embracing. But I am living a life that really does not suit me, a conventional married life with a man. I have a delicious secret in that when I get to go to Boston town, I know I will be buying my magazine, my DIVA magazine. It is so exciting to go into Smiths to buy a copy and take it with pride to the till. I have something very special in having my copy of DIVA. It is so treasured, like a friend which enables me to escape my feelings of loneliness and feel truly happy. For the past 10 years of my marriage, I have loved and still love buying my magazine and can’t wait to read it. I feel so excited when I know it is in my bag as I walk around town. You have been my BFF and will remain so for years to come. Thank you for being a lifeline for me. You are my inspiration. This year, I plan to finally be myself, finally be happy and finally be openly gay. I know my children will support me and be happy for me too.
