Our first failed attempt at IUI was a huge blow for us on our path to our little family. We had travelled to Denmark to receive treatment and were convinced it had gone well for us. The morning we took a pregnancy test and it wasn’t successful we felt we had failed. With hindsight, we now know it was more about the ovulation cycle than any influence we had, but at the time it really hit us hard.
