WORDS OF SUPPORT

We wanted to say what a great job you are doing with DIVA. It’s so much more interesting and political. We are two older dykes, both professionals in our 60s. Coming from conventional homes in Liverpool and Manchester, we each kept our “secret” until our parents passed away. It was very painful and tormenting, and both of us felt out of place in society. We often talk of those times. Happy New Year to you all, keep well and safe.

About DIVA Magazine

We’ve got a treat this month for all you YouTube fans – an exclusive interview and photoshoot with the adorable (and super talented) Bria and Chrissy! In a revealing chat with DIVA’s Roxy Bourdillon, the couple talk about how YouTube has affected their relationship, their upcoming wedding, and their long-running battle to change laws around revenge porn. There’s also a bonus for digital readers, who can access a special photo gallery from our LA shoot. Also in our love issue… #Kana get enough: We’re on the cobbles with Faye Brookes and Bhavna Limbachia, the stars behind Corrie couple Kate and Rana Masha Gessen: “The stories of women who make it out of Chechnya are terrifying and tragic” Deliciously queer: Food writer Ruby Tandoh tells us why she’s hungry for change The Voice star Jordan Gray on what it means to be a woman What happens in the grey area between friendship and romance? Katie Margaret Hall explores “frelationships” Forgotten women: Fascinating lesbians and bi women that history forgot Life in limbo: We meet a couple living on the organ donation waiting list Plus: Travel, dating and much more!
