WHO YOU CALLING ALOOF?

FROM SHAKESPEARE TO REALITY TV, TO PLAYS ABOUT REALITY TV, BRITISH ACTOR SAMUEL CURRY SHARES HIS PASSION FOR OCD CLEANING AND RYAN GOSLING WITH DNA. INTERVIEW BY MARC ANDREWS.

DNA: You obviously have no issue losing your clothes in front of the camera.

Samuel Curry: [Laughs] I certainly don’t see myself as a model, but good photographers make you feel at ease and forget you’re doing a photo shoot. I’m so conscious of my body. I don’t look like an athlete and am not in the most amazing physical shape and before shoots I cut down on carbs. If you did that as a career you would have an eating disorder for life!

About DNA Magazine

Welcome to our Next Big Thing issue. Every day we’re bombarded with news of the “the latest”, “the newest”, “the most amazing next…” So we asked our contributors and correspondents to look to their speciality fields and focus on the next big things we’re really going to appreciate. For example, 3D porn is already here but fully interactive experiences are just around the corner. On stage, we’re looking forward to Bette Midler in Hello Dolly! and Pamela Rabe in The Testament Of Mary. It’s going to be a big year for gay content on film and television. Along with Moonlight, Call Me By Your Name and the Australian feature The Dream Children are going to make it an extraordinary year for gay film. On the health front, there are extraordinary developments in medical technology that are going to profoundly change lives, and the food we eat is no small part of it. Then, of course, there’s the world of fashion where change is fundamental (and fun). And let’s not forget the men and the models who are going to be heating up our pages, our news feeds and blowing up our Instagram accounts! We hope you like what we’ve put together. Enjoy the Next Big Things!
