Galaxy 4

A SPACESHIP CREWED BY A DOZEN RILLS AND THEIR multi-function machine drones first encountered the Drahvins near a lifeless planet. The less technologically advanced Drahvins were on a mission to conquer space via colonisation, their home world having become over-populated. This all-female crew comprised one true Drahvin – the commanding officer Maaga – and four inferior soldiers cultivated in test tubes to fight and kill.

The Drahvins launched an unprovoked attack on the Rills. The Rills returned fire, and both vessels crashed close together on a silent, barren planet – an unfamiliar world illuminated by three suns. Eight Rills died in the crash, and the survivors were unable to breathe the planet’s atmosphere. With a limited supply of ammoniac gas, one Rill ventured outside to help the Drahvins. The first soldier the Rill found was injured. Maaga murdered the wounded soldier before turning her gun on the watching Rill. From this point on the Drahvins and the Rills became locked in a bitter struggle to survive.
