Dolls House and Miniature Scene  |  DHMS Jan 10 (Iss 187)
Whilst selecting the contents for Dolls House and Miniature Scene
my aim is to ensure that there is something for everyone however big
or small the project or feature might be, and that all levels of skills are
catered for. Introducing the regular beginners projects is a successful
move; at a recent show one lady with her young daughter beside her
said, “It’s great to see the new series for beginners as my daughter
can now enjoy doing something for herself”. Well that’s one young new
comer to the hobby, let’s hope there will be many more to support this
fascinating hobby for the future.
We have a number of Christmassy projects for you to do, there is still
time; more cut-outs to top up those seasonal goodies, completing the
fantastic Christmas cottage, Georgian style entertaining and bookends
featured in last month’s issue. Tatters can enjoy tatting Christmas
decorations whilst doll lovers create an exquisite ballerina.
