PAKISTAN’S military said four terrorists had been killed and 600 terror suspects detained following the launch of a nationwide anti-terrorist operation last Wednesday (22).
Troops and police have been on high alert after last month’s wave of attacks, including one in Lahore and another on a Sufi shrine in Sindh province that killed more than 100 people.
The army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations, said more than 200 search operations had been conducted across Punjab and Rawalpindi and 600 suspects arrested, including Afghan nationals.
