THE 76.6-METRE EXPLORER YERSIN HAS BEEN created as a research vessel and yacht, with an Ice 1C class hull that can cruise in -20°C conditions, with on-board waste treatment systems that allow 40 people to stay on board for 50 days. The steel and aluminium yacht accommodates 18 guests and has a range of 12,000 nautical miles. As well as guests, the yacht is designed to host scientists and technicians. On-board facilities include two laboratories, a media room, an infirmary and a scuba-diving room.
