Yamaha may as well have announced that they’ve won the bike making competition, what with the long awaited Tracer 700 being added to the already stupendously successful MT range. Based on the phenomenally able MT-07 motor and chassis, the bike then borrows the design thinking behind the MT-09 Tracer to offer miles galore and the opportunity to take loads of luggage for those looking to further their horizons.
Hello world, I’m coming to see you all!
Not much is going to change in the motor department – and that’s a good thing. The 689cc parallel twin is a belter, with the 270-degree crank generating character galore – not to mention third gear clutch-up wheelies. 75bhp and 68Nm of of torque doesn’t sound overly generous but life in the real world tells another story entirely.
