Cookie CAKE

Recreate the Insta-famous cake in cookie form with this easy guide by Ferial from Sticky Fingers the Cake & Cookie Co.

TECHNIQUES USING A TEMPLATE, PIPING BUTTERCREAM

For this cake you can use a number or letter cake tin and draw around it to make a template, or print off numbers or letters using Arial Black font in Microsoft Word and enlarging them using a photocopier. Alternatively, you could make your own template by drawing a grid using squares of 7.5x6cm (3x2.5in) across and 13x6cm (5x2.5in) down so you have a total of 15 squares. You can then mark out and draw your letters or numbers this way (see above).
