GREAT IDEAS FOR AUTUMN
Autumn’s here and although many plants have come to the end of their growing season, there are still plenty that look good at this time of the year.
It’s a great time to get planting, so if your garden is lacking colour and interest through the autumn months, now’s the perfect time to put that right. The main advantage of planting now is that roots have time to establish while the soil’s moist and warm before winter. This means that the plants will grow away much better in spring and because they’ve put down their roots, they’ll be more drought tolerant should we get another dry summer.
