Fitness with Charlie King

01. Deadlift. This works everything! Stand feet slightly wider than shoulders, knees slightly bent and hands gripping the bar slightly outside of legs. Place hands on the bar, wrap first two fingers over your thumb. Keep head up, eyes forward, chest out, and back flat. Inhale. I use straps for grip. Keeping the bar close, exhale to straighten the legs and drive through the heels, not the toes, bringing the weight up past knees. Keep core engaged throughout and finish by thrusting hips on extension. With a straight back, slowly hinge forward at the hips, allow knees to bend a little at the same time, and lower the bar back to the ground. That’s rep one. Try 4 sets of 10 reps with 1-2 mins rest between each.

The Olympic heartthrob talks to GT about hugging men, making history and bringing home the gold. Also in your brand new GT - hieeeeee! Whether you like it or not, reigning RuPauls Drag Race queen Alaska's here to slay. Can you be gay and Christian? We reach out and touch faith with Ruth Hunt, Vicky Beeching and Jeremy Pemberton. We also dive into the archives and pay tribute to the fabulous life of the Freak Unique. RIP Pete Burns.
