Get up-and-at-’em on a full stomach!

Breakfast banana bars

Makes 10 | Prep 5 mins | Cook 20-25 mins | Calories 215 (per bar)

6 ripe bananas, peeled 400g (14oz) gluten-free oats 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp water

1 Preheat the oven to 200ºC/Gas Mark 6.

2 Mash the bananas in a bowl, then add the oats, cinnamon and water and mix together.

3 Line a square baking tin with baking paper, then pour in the mix. Press down firmly with the back of a fork to compact it into the tin.

4 Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, remove from the oven, then allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
