GT Porsche  |  March 17
Far from being an exercise in badge engineering, as I have seen some suggest of late, Porsche’s GTS models are, as you’ll read in this issue, are somewhat more than the sum of their parts. Case in point, I spent some time in the Macan GTS this month, and it served to impress. Sticking with the Macan, we’ve also been behind the wheel of the Macan Turbo with Performance Pack this month.
TechArt has produced one of the first reworked 718s in the form of its Boxster S; we test it on sweeping German roads to see if the famous tuner can improve the roadster. Talking of tuning, Rich Covill’s 964 is a personalised take on a classically cool 911. See also whether you agree that it’s time the 944 Cabriolet was welcomed in from the cold, and read about Autofarm’s latest 2.7 RS find, it’s quite a tale. We also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 910 winning at the Targa Florio and the Nurbürgring 1000km races this month.
