TURMERIC IN HERBAL TEAS and lattes – really? The spice is turning up in all sorts of recipes besides curries. And it’s gaining popularity not just for the flavour and colour it adds to dishes (it’s well known for giving curries their bright yellow-orange colour – and, yes, it stains hands and tablecloths badly), but also for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
