While most dietitians agree reducing meat intake is a good idea, they also acknowledge that eaten in moderation it can play a part in a healthy diet as it’s so full of nutrients. At the top of this list is protein, important for muscle and bone strength and for boosting the feeling of fullness after eating – which, in turn, has a role in appetite and weight management.
