You have to be careful with some of the research identifying the benefits of certain nuts over others. For instance, there’s evidence (and an approved EU health claim) that eating 30g walnuts daily can improve the elasticity of blood vessels, which may reduce the risk of heart disease. This doesn’t necessarily mean that walnuts are superior to other types of nuts, though, in terms of their effects on health – it’s just that the effects of other nuts are less studied.
