WHY YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING SEASON 2 OF THE US COMEDY-DRAMA
You might remember UnREAL, the US comedy drama that aired on Lifetime last year, which took a scathing, no-holdsbarred look behind the scenes of a Bachelor-style reality TV dating show called Everlasting. It’s now moved to Amazon Prime after winning Most Exciting New Series in last year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. Here’s all you need to know about the new season.

It’s not actually a reality TV show, is it?
No – it’s a fictional scripted show about the making of a fictional reality show. Confusingly, season one aired on Lifetime, home of lots of actual reality shows including Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and Dance Moms. But co-creator Sarah Shapiro did work on The Bachelor (and it made her ill), so she uses her insider knowledge to fuel the storylines.
