The queen of Egypt tries to use her charms to keep control of the kingdom
CEleopatra was the last of the gyptian pharaohs. When she took her own life, it marked the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty that ruled Egypt since the death of Alexander the Great in 304 BC. It also enabled Octavian, who would become Augustus, the first Roman emperor, to get his hands on her lands.
