BARA AND VATERSAY are undoubtedly my two favourite Scottish Islands. They are situated on the Southern end of the Outer Hebrides and connected by a causeway. Here you will find stunning deserted beaches, wildlife around every corner, tranquillity and a warm welcome. If you have never visited Barra, this is one place not to miss. My other reason for visiting these islands is for the fresh crab, which is the best and freshest I have ever tasted.
