Jaguar Enthusiast  |  Vol.30 No.5 Special Technical Issue
Well it’s May and I hope all
you ‘classic’ owners have
got your cars back on the
road after the winter and
that many of you enjoyed the ‘Drive
it Day’ experiences in April. I also
hope all you regular (everyday) Jaguar
owners have your cars spruced up ready
for the summer; I certainly took the
opportunity to get my XJ polished and
sorted (more on this in a later issue).
Keeping our cars on the road doesn’t have
to be so daunting. Many take advantage of
the facilities of their local Jaguar dealerships,
others the independent specialists, but there
is still a signifi cant number who want to ‘tinker’
with their own cars, or at least know more
about the workings for future reference.
I won’t therefore apologise for the emphasis
in this magazine on the technical side of Jaguar
ownership. I have taken the opportunity to feature
technical snippets of information, your questions
raised (and answered), and more in-depth articles from members, on maintaining our cars, classic
or modern, and I hope you like the approach.
