Trading since September 2015, Bombay Food Truck is one of India’s most recognisable street-food sellers, with its fleet of cheerful red trucks. Founder Ashish Sajnani (pictured) was inspired by his travels and the food trucks he encountered in Europe and the USA to bring something shiny and new to his city’s teeming street-food scene. Bombay Food Truck marries the local flavours of Mumbai with global gourmet appeal (and fries). The menu is diverse, ranging from a vegetable burger with sriracha aioli to an Indian take on the classic hot dog. One of the most popular items is the keema pav – spicy chicken mince served in a crusty roll with an egg on top.
