LONDON, ENGLAND
The London Design Museum has upped sticks from Shad Thames to swanky new digs in Kensington, in the old home of the Commonwealth Institute. The museum continues in its mission to showcase the foremost collection of contemporary design in the world, but with three times the space. Highlights include the near 1,000 everday objects in the exhibition ‘designer maker user’, including a 1946 Vespa Clubman and the humble Biro.
