Village life

The historic core of this colonial town has the lot: cobblestone streets, fower-flled plazas and Castilian architecture. Calle San Francisco is home to the highest concentration of 17th-century mansions, including Casa de los Balcones (; free). The surrounding streets are crammed with shops selling local crafts and old-fashioned tascas (bars) serving delicious tapas.
