Travel through time in London
Can’t quite decide in which millennium to spend the spring bank holiday? Time Run may just be able to help. The story goes that Edwardian scientist Luna Fox and her robot sidekick Babbage have discovered the secret to time travel, and need help fying back through the centuries in a quest to fnd the mysterious Lance of Longinus. And she needs your help. Groups of three to fve adventurers are admitted to a series of historically themed rooms chock full of puzzles and challenges. Solve them all before the clock ticks down from 60 minutes, and you’ll recover the lance and escape to glory. It’s London’s most sophisticated escape game, one of several to open in the capital in the last few years, and there are still tickets available over the bank holiday. Once you’re done, and if the weather’s good, spend the rest of the day recovering at the lido or on the grass in nearby London Fields. In inclement weather, the tap room of London Fields Brewery and the boutiques and bars of Broadway Market are but a short walk away. Come on a Saturday and the street is thronged with people sampling produce at its popular weekly food market.
