This picture of Oli Berry was taken somewhere in the desert west of Alpine, Texas. ‘I was thinking how incredibly wild and incredibly large Texas is,’ he says. ‘It took us nearly a whole day to get from one side of the state to the other.’ He’d spent the previous day on a ranch near Fort Davis, and drove for two hours across the ranch and never even got close to the edge. ‘That’s how big Texas is.’
