Slipknot: keeping us on our toes
"Right now is kind of an interesting time,” Clown recently revealed during a publicity event for Slipknot’s Iowa No. 9 whiskey. “We’re taking this time to write some new music. Since everybody’s taken a lot of time off, we thought we’d utilise it by getting together and do what we probably do best, which is write music. It’s been good, because there’s no pressure. It’s not like we have to. We’re doing it because we want to.”
New Slipknot music in 2021? It seems unlikely, but since when have Slipknot been predictable? The Nine have a slew of dates planned across the year too, though are yet to reschedule many of 2020’s planned shows, including the first ever Knotfest At Sea and Knotfest UK events. Fingers crossed we get some news on those very soon.
