THE FACTS
MØL CHANGED THE face of blackgaze when they debuted with Jord in 2018. Thanks to the album’s emphatic breakdowns, ceaseless screeches and punchy song structures, the genre could no longer be decried by elitists as black metal ‘gone soft’. With a metal behemoth behind them and a modern classic in their back catalogue, are they feeling the pressure for album number two? Not a bit, they tell us.
