THERE ARE SUBATOMIC particles that have proved more stable than Orange Goblin’s 25th anniversary celebrations. After cancellations, reappearances as a not-ideal socially distanced event and a cathartic Damnation appearance, the UK’s otherwise most reliable metal band are still battling through the Covid headwinds to finally mark a UK tour to honour their achievement. It culminates in two nights at their spiritual home, The Underworld, and if not every ticket-holder has proved willing to take their chances against Omicron, the atmosphere is everything you’d expect: bawdy, exultant, all as one.
