Saint Agnes’s rage is more than skin deep
East London antagonists lob a barrage of grief-fuelled sonic grenades
AFTER THEIR 2019 debut, Welcome To Silvertown, marked them out as a band to watch, London quartet Saint Agnes’s profile has risen considerably in the intervening years. After self-releasing a DIY rock album, they’re now following it up on the higher profile Spinefarm Records, and the attention they grabbed during their excellent Main Stage slot at 2021’s Download Pilot means there are going to be plenty of new eyes on and a different weight of expectation on Bloodsuckers. The good news is that Saint Agnes have done what you would want of any band in this situation, by bettering their debut in every conceivable metric.
