BRITISH RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP
It’s 2016 and the Premier League is gone – hypothetically of course. Bare with me here. The second tier remains, as does the Champions League,
but the bosses of the Premier League have decided that there isn’t enough talent in the game and that Man City and Chelsea have too much money. So we’re not going to run in 2016. We’ll start again with new organisers in 2017. In all honesty, can you see that happening? No, of course not. Even if you aren’t a football person. But that’s what happened to the British Rally Championship. At the end of 2013 a tender document was produced to inform the decision on who would take over the series in 2015 and what direction the series would go in.
