Editorial

Duncan

The crazy, busy time that I mentioned in my last editorial shows no sign of abating. I find myself writing this editorial while sitting in a quiet house in Boulder, Colorado, looking at squirrels scampering across the first snow of the season. More on my travels and adventures next issue.

Meanwhile, this issue has the usual assortment of news and information not found in the mainstream media. Project Censored has again released its top 25 most underreported news stories, marking almost 40 years of this project. The criteria for this independent project are stories not covered by the US corporate media, and as always there are some interesting items among some predictable ones.

We’re pleased to be running an article by Leon Horton on the pitfalls of trialling products and pharmaceutical drugs on humans, and I’ve asked him to prepare an article for our next issue on the fraudulent practice of testing drugs and products on animals to "prove" human safety.
