AS PART of Kinlochleven High School’s Employability Month, S2 pupils have completed food hygiene certificates in partnership with West Highland College.
The Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland is a Level 2 qualification in food hygiene which is nationally recognised in all sectors of the food industry.
The certificate is awarded to participants who have successfully completed the Elementary Food Hygiene Course and subsequent assessment. The course takes a minimum of six hours and is designed to provide practical information and advice which will help employers and employees ensure food handling is carried out safely.
