KILMARTIN Museum got its campaign to raise £400,000 towards a new extension off to a great start at a recent event.
More than 50 friends and followers attended the event at the museum on Friday October 28, when they were entertained by Bar None Community Choir in the atmospherically illuminated Glebe Cairn.
Kilmartin Glen, north of Lochgilphead, is held to be mainland Scotland’s most important prehistoric ritual landscape, boasting within a 10-mile radius 800 historic monuments built over 6,000 years.
